This sword is based on "ring" swords finds in Central Europe (Switzerland and Czech Republic) and Great Britain. The blade was composed of central pattern welded core with straight lines pattern and welded-in steel edges. The pommel and guard are decorated with inlayed brass wire creating a thunderbolt decoration. Both fittings were then darkened (dark blued) using fire and oil. The sword was made by master smith Richard Kazda of the ArmArt company. The whole sword-making process was based on the original procedures, involving only manual work. Basic historical materials and procedures were used in the process.
