The Talon of of Patricia

The diamond cross-sectioned blade was composed of two central damascened twisted rods and welded-in steel edges. The blade is slightly etched and aged. A runic inscription in silver wire was added to the blade for naming the sword. The pommel and guard are made of 12% tin bronze, decorated with Celtic style deep hand cut. The sword was made by master smith Richard Kazda of the ArmArt company. The whole sword-making process was based on the original procedures, involving only manual work. Basic historical materials and procedures were used in the process.

The blade was composed of 3 central pattern welded rods creating the core and welded-in steel edges. Both sides of fuller a long custom inscription in Old Norse inlayed in silver. The mild steel pommel and guard are decorated with deep cut of Germanic patterns. The sword was made by master smith Richard Kazda of the ArmArt company.
