The sword is merely
unadorned with decorative engravings which can be added later for an
additional investment. The sole focus of the S4B is usage. Though stately
in appearance, it's price factor makes it ideal as a user blade for those
who want to practice cutting but do not want to concern themselves with
preserving the finish of a presentation piece. On the other hand, this
makes the S4B the most versatile choice for custom engravings, which can
be done for you for an additional investment. (You may specify for
engravings to be done on either one side or both sides of the sword, and
for them to appear on the blade fuller, cross guard and pommel. Additional
investment custom engravings are calculated per centimeter of handwork
engraving, at approximately US$11.00 per character per side, depending on
the size of the engravings.) Click HERE to

Knightly Swords of this kind were originally developed in Medieval Europe
as battlefield weapons.
The sword - like all other Armart swords (except for its peaceful cousin,
the S4P - Sword of Prayer) is shipped sharpened.
This sword is made by historical methods, forged and finished by hand, and
the steel is given excellent thermal treatment to obtain the necessary
performance for this to be a weapon worthy of the ancient battlefield.
Swords of this nature must be respected for their potential to do harm, as
this is most certainly not a toy, and should be respected as if one were
handling even a firearm.
Steel pommel in the shape of a Brazil nut. Wooden hilt wrapped in dark
leather. Straight guard. Wide, sharp, hand hammered blade with a groove.
No knight should ever be without his sword. Those of you who are knights
at heart and feel the call to Godly virtues in service of King and Country
can now do so at a budget. Shipping is included in its price. |

Finally, a longsword from
ArmArt! There is an advantage that we at ArmArt have - our access to
museums. This marvelous longsword is a reproduction/reconstruction of the
sword of Czech King Przemysl Ottokar II as exhibited in the Kunshitorishe
Museum Wien. These longswords were known as Grete Sword or Espées
de Guerre.
The interesting blade may be classified as an Oakeshott Type XIIIa or
XIIIb.5. The blade has a fuller that runs two-thirds its length. The
bowtie guard and wheel pommel are of iron. The grip is beech wood waxed by
bee's wax.
This is an excellent knightly cut-and-thrust sword for those needing an
effective historical weapon for either collecting and/or practicing
martial arts.
The guard and pommel
provide many personalization possibilities for those seeking an additional
investment path towards engravings, even a black or brown leather wrap for
the grip. Just about any kind of historical crest, emblem or seal can be
hand-engraved on the pommel e.g. Lions, Crosses, etc. If you go for a
cross theme, we recommend echoing the crosses on the tips of the guard.
